Margaritaville Resort Orlando – Our Tropical Escape in the Heart of Florida

If there’s one place that captures the true feeling of being on holiday — where every day feels like sunshine, music, and pure joy — it’s Margaritaville Resort Orlando. From the moment we arrived, surrounded by palm trees and that happy island vibe, we knew this wasn’t just another Florida resort — it was an experience all on its own.

Our Villa Stay

We stayed in one of the Margaritaville Cottages, and honestly, it felt like having our own private slice of paradise. The villa was spacious, modern, and beautifully decorated in soft coastal colours that instantly made us feel relaxed.

There was a fully equipped kitchen, a comfy lounge area perfect for lazy evenings, and our own outdoor patio where we enjoyed morning coffee (and the occasional cocktail!). Having our own space gave us the best of both worlds — the privacy of a villa, but with full access to all the resort amenities.

Resort Vibes

The resort itself is absolutely stunning. The main lagoon-style pool is surrounded by sand, so you genuinely feel like you’re at the beach — even in the middle of Orlando. We spent hours soaking up the sun, enjoying the poolside bar, and listening to live music drifting through the air.

For families, Island H2O Live! Water Park next door is a must — it’s huge fun and just a short stroll away. And for a bit of pampering, the St. Somewhere Spa looked incredible (next time I’m definitely booking in!).

Dining & Entertainment

We loved the choice of restaurants — from casual bites to sit-down dinners. The Euphoria Fish House was a highlight, serving the freshest seafood and tropical cocktails. Evenings were best spent wandering over to Sunset Walk, the nearby promenade filled with shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The atmosphere there is lively but laid-back — just what you’d expect from a Margaritaville experience.

Location, Location, Location

What surprised us most was how close everything was. We were just minutes from Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld, yet every time we came back to the resort, it felt like stepping into a peaceful island retreat far away from the theme park buzz.

Final Thoughts

Margaritaville Resort Orlando completely exceeded our expectations. It’s the perfect spot for couples, families, or groups of friends who want the fun of Orlando with the relaxation of a beach holiday. Our villa made it feel extra special, spacious, stylish, and so comfortable that leaving was the hardest part!
