Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Amsterdam’s vibrant rhythm was a burst of color and creativity. There’s something about this city — the way locals cycle past 17th-century houses, the scent of coffee drifting from canal-side cafés, and the hum of boats gliding beneath arched bridges — that feels alive in every sense.
We explored the Jordaan district’s art galleries and boutiques, visited the Anne Frank House for a poignant reminder of resilience, and spent lazy afternoons at Vondelpark. Amsterdam’s museum scene is incredible — from Van Gogh’s expressive masterpieces to the Rijksmuseum’s Dutch classics.
And yes, we joined the locals on bikes — a must-do to truly feel part of city life. Amsterdam offered a mix of freedom, history, and energy that stayed with us long after we left.
