Bruges, Belgium
Bruges. With its cobblestone lanes, medieval charm, and quiet canals reflecting centuries-old buildings, Bruges feels like stepping straight into a storybook.
We spent hours wandering the Markt Square, climbing the Belfry Tower for sweeping views, and indulging in Belgian waffles that were as fluffy as they were irresistible. A boat ride through the canals revealed hidden courtyards and ivy-covered bridges that reminded me why Bruges is often called the “Venice of the North.”
Evenings were best spent at cozy bistros with twinkling lights and local beer, listening to church bells echo across the water. Bruges truly set the tone for this trip — a reminder to slow down and savor Europe’s timeless beauty.
