Hotel Review: Radisson Blu Downtown Toronto
If you’re heading to Toronto and want somewhere stylish, comfortable, and right by the water, I can’t recommend the Radisson Blu Downtown Toronto enough. It’s one of those hotels that just feels good the moment you walk in — modern but relaxed, with friendly staff who genuinely seem to love what they do.
My room was bright, spacious, and had the most gorgeous view over Lake Ontario — I could have happily spent all morning just watching the boats go by. The bed was incredibly comfy (the kind you sink into and instantly fall asleep), and I loved the little touches like the Nespresso machine and fluffy robes.
The rooftop pool is an absolute dream. Floating around with the CN Tower in full view doesn’t really get old, and the terrace is the perfect spot for a cocktail as the sun sets.
I had dinner at the Watermark Restaurant one evening, and it was excellent — fresh, local ingredients and a relaxed vibe that didn’t feel overly formal. Breakfast was also great, with plenty of choice and strong coffee (which is always a win for me!).
The location couldn’t be better. You can walk to the Harbourfront Centre, catch a ferry over to the Toronto Islands, or wander up to the CN Tower and Rogers Centre in just a few minutes. It’s the perfect base if you want to explore without needing to drive anywhere.
All in all, the Radisson Blu Downtown Toronto was the perfect mix of city convenience and lakeside calm. I’d happily stay here again in a heartbeat.
